ELLIE HARMAN-TAYLOR

FINE ARTIST / LECTURER / WRITER / WEAVER

Ellie Harman-Taylor is an artist based in London, UK. Graduating in 2019 with a BA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins School of Art (UAL) 

My Fine art practice includes trying to explain what it is like to live with mental illnesses and disabilities today, the body as a processing machine and exploring how coping mechanisms can develop and be helpful to survival. I work with sculpture, video, performance, collaboration and comedy

Current projects include lecturing the series 'Don't Worry I'm Sick and Poor' which she co-created at the Royal College of Art, London

Taking weaving commissions and creating looms from cheap objects to make weaving for accessible
